Kreider Services
Celebrating over 70 years of service, Kreider Services serves over 600 individuals and is known throughout Illinois for its quality programs in the areas of Autism, Community Living, Creative Employment, Day Services, Early Intervention, Individual Supports and Respite. With four students and one teacher, the school began operation in September 1952 after a determined group of Dixon parents banded together to form a private school for children with disabilities.
The mission of Kreider Services is as dedicated today as it was in 1952 – “Provide meaningful supports to people with disabilities to live, work and participate in their community.”
